I saw this unattributed quote in a email and it particularly resonated with me today.
“LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY TO THE GRACE WITH THE INTENTION OF ARRIVING SAFELY IN A PRETTY AND WELL PRESERVED BODY, BUT RATHER TO SKID IN BROADSIDE, THOROUGHLY USED UP, TOTALLY WORN OUT, AND LOUDLY PROCLAIMING…WOW…WHATTA RIDE!!!!”
It sounds cliché but I truly believe that we are to embrace life with fervor, savoring each thrill, each breath.
