This is the personal homepage of Daniel Chang.

I am a resident of Cary, NC.

I’m a big fan of free speech and free beer.  I like technology, especially when technology can improve the way we interact with each other.  I admire how web 2.0 companies can mobilize huge numbers to voluntarily contribute content (personal webpages, blog posts, myspace/facebook profiles, twitter updates, flickr photos) and then monetize that content by charging advertisers.

I’ve also been learning about libertarianism and the Libertarian Party, since registering Libertarian Party affiliation in April 2010.  I support the Non Aggression Principle which which asserts that “aggression”, defined as the initiation of physical force, the threat of such, or fraud upon persons or their property, is inherently illegitimate. I’m for “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” for all persons.

I’m currently one of the Organizers of the Cary Bible Study Meetup.  It’s a nondenominational interchurch discussion group that meets at Borders in Cary on Monday evenings.
